Check the last return bus before travelling into the mountains.Baishuizhai lies in the mountains of northern Zengcheng. Steep terrain and abundant waterways create its waterfalls, valleys and forests, making it a distinctive natural landscape within the wider Guangzhou area.
Local stories and memories have long centered on the falls and wooded hills. Later tourism development added walking trails, viewing platforms and boardwalks, opening the formerly remote landscape to more visitors.
Baishuizhai reveals Guangzhou's mountainous and rural side. Its forests and waterfalls offer a different experience from the cultural sights of the dense central city.
