Updating the weather…

Guangzhou Zoo provides a centrally located, relatively affordable family outing. Its varied animal exhibits can fill a relaxed half-day, with Tianhe and Dongshankou nearby for a wider itinerary.

Themed attractions, performances and interactive activities have broadened Guangzhou's appeal beyond traditional sightseeing. Their development is closely linked to improved transport and major tourism projects in outer districts such as Panyu and Huadu.

Guangzhou Zoo reflects changes in how Guangzhou spends its leisure time. It offers families and younger travelers a different experience from the city's historic monuments and old streets.
