Updating the weather…

South China Botanical Garden developed through the interaction of local landforms, waterways, vegetation and urban growth. Today its green spaces and scenery offer room for walks, gentle hikes and relaxed family outings.

As the city expanded, forests, lakes and wetlands gained new roles in conservation and public recreation. In some places, villages, temples, old paths and local stories add historical layers to the landscape.

A visit to South China Botanical Garden offers another view of Guangzhou, shaped by natural geography as well as urban development. It complements the city's towers, shopping areas and historic streets.
